Guided Sea Fishing Trip in Eastern Gulf of Finland
The Gulf of Finland is an amazing experience in itself. The rich and varied archipelago allows you to fish in a variety of ways, depending on the weather and the season. Our guides are the absolute elite in their field. Our priority is the safety, comfort, quality and, of course, the catch itself. Choice of departure point
Kymi Fishing Oy operates in the sea area from Kotka to Helsinki, but our preferred departure points are Hamar Port, Hamarintie 2 06650 PORVOO, Porvoo.
The place of departure is chosen according to the species of fish, the customer's wishes and the weather conditions. A possible change of departure point can be agreed between the customer and the tour operator a few days before the trip.
Predatory Fish
The target fish is selected according to the wishes of the customers and the prevailing season.
Pike
Pike is one of our most common predators. That does not mean that pike fishing, especially to catch a big one, is easy. Pike can be caught practically all open water season and is one of the most fun fish to fish for thanks to its good catchability.
Pike Perch
At the right time and with the right gear, pike fishing can be very lucrative. Pike are fished either from the bottom line, or using live techniques. Coho can be caught throughout the open water season.
Perch
Perch is our most abundant predator fish and is great fun to catch. Perch fishing is mainly done with jigs, but hard lures also produce good catches. Perch start to swarm in August and catches can be plentiful until the ice comes.
Sea trout
Sea trout are king when it comes to the challenge of catching them. There is hardly any other fishery where there are so many variables as there are in catching trout. Water height, wind direction, water temperatures, season and food supply determine where you go looking for fish. The scenery in the high seas is in a class of its own, which adds a lot of value to catching this magnificent fish. The best times to catch trout are April to May and from September until the ice comes.
