Kymi Fishing organises annual guided salmon fishing trips to Korkeakoski on the Kymijoki River, perhaps Finland's most reliable salmon river. The trips are organised according to the customer's wishes, with the best fishing periods being April-May and September-November. In spring, the main target fish are the bright sea trout that come up from the sea to feed in the river, and in autumn, the salmon that come up from the river in large numbers.

Fishing permits

Fishing trips in the river basin include fishing permits for the river basin. In addition to the river permits, the customer must have paid the state fishing fee. The permit is personal and can be purchased conveniently at: https://www.eraluvat.fi/en/fishing/fisheries-management-fee.html . The guide will check that the permits are in order before setting out on the water. Without the fishing permits, the fishing trip cannot be organised. Persons under 18 and over 70 years of age do not have to pay the state fishing fee.

Dressing

Personal outdoor gear appropriate for the weather is usually sufficient, but we will provide weather-appropriate clothing for clothing and shoe sizes on site if needed. At the same time as the client agrees with Kymi Fishing on the time of execution, clothing requirements will be agreed.

Catering

It is also possible to buy lunch for the fishing trips. Lunch options are available on every product for which it is available. Before the trip, the guide will check with the client any food allergies.
